The PECMH Auxiliary supports students pursuing post-secondary education in the health sciences

HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT AWARDS

Each year, up to 6 High School Scholarships are awarded for academic excellence and school and community involvement.

Each scholarship is valued at $5,000 and is awarded in one installment upon proof of enrollment. Students who are applying to a college/university with the intention of requesting a deferral for one year (GAP Year) can also request a deferral of the PECMHA high school scholarship, should they be offered one.

MATURE STUDENT AWARDS

Each year, up to 4 Mature Student Scholarships are awarded to those applicants who are at least 22 years of age. Preference is given to those students who have not pursued any post-secondary education since high school. These awards provide $2,500 for students pursuing a one-year program and $5,000 for a multi-year program. Both are awarded in one installment upon proof of enrollment.

N.B. Students who have received a high school scholarship are not eligible to apply for the mature scholarship.
